After the failure of distance learning, the state is yet to heed the calls of students for a safe, quality, and accessible education amid the pandemic. Instead, its recent efforts have been focused inundermining academic institutions and the democratic rights of students by red-tagging universities.
NUSP, along with student representatives, will discuss specific and urgent demands such as: (1) augmenting requisites for distance learning in high-risk areas; (2) conducting health security and risk assessment in low-risk areas where limited face to face classes is possible, and (3) ensuring health requirements are met.
Join us as we reiterate our calls: Ligtas balik-eskwela, hindi campus militarization! Defend academic freedom! Junk Terror Law!
